Bill Blaikie, Politician.
Bill is a United Church minister who has served as both an NDP federal MP and Manitoba MLA. His storied political career has given Bill a unique perspective on the relationship between faith and politics. Bill heads up the Knowles-Woodsworth Centre for Theology & Public Policy. Larkin is a behavioral health scientist and health educator. Her dissertation at Columbia University focuses on the social determinants of the way both women and girls, and men and boys act, with a primary focus on the health of adolescent girls. Michael Petkau Falk, Musician.
Mike leads Head in the Sand Records, an upstart record label featuring Royal Canoe, Les Jupes, The Liptonians, Demetra, etc. He's also a songwriter and fronts the band Les Jupes, whose debut album "Modern Myths" is currently available. Greg Selinger, Premier of Manitoba.
Greg became a provincial MLA in 1999. Under his watch as finance minister, the NDP reduced taxes for families and small business while investing more in health care and education. Jeff is president of the Humanist Association of Manitoba, a former Anglican priest, and the author of Leaving Faith Behind. Jamer Hunt is the Chair of Urban and Transdisciplinary Design at Parsons the New School for Design. Previously, he served for seven years at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia as Director of the Masters Program in Industrial Design. Godin is the NDP Member of Parliament for Acadie—Bathurst in New Brunswick. Previously, Godin was a labour representative for the United Steelworkers. Andrew Cash is a Canadian singer-songwriter and MP for the Toronto-area Davenport electoral district. Cash grew up in Toronto, where he co-founded the Toronto punk band L'Étranger. Glen Murray, MPP & former Winnipeg Mayor.
Glen served as the 41st Mayor of Winnipeg, Manitoba from 1998 to 2004. He now lives in Toronto, where he was elected as Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) for Toronto Centre in 2010, and was appointed provincial Minister of Research and Innovation.
